Smiti is mission driven technology executive with 2 decades of experience in Product management, solution engineering and Business development.

Early in her career Smiti operated and ran the production systems for Chicago Tribune. She has worked at Oracle and Pivotal/EMC for 6 and 8 years respectively. Most recently Smiti was at Datastax and AWS, where she was responsible for Americas Field Engineering and Customer success functions. In this executive role, Smiti was accountable and responsible for establishing and managing the SAAS rollout, adoption and consumption of cloud services.

Since 2023, Smiti has been busy as a Fractional CTO, CTO Advisor and Coach. She assists startups and enterprises alike to accelerate their production adoption, understand customers better, succeed in the competitive landscape, so that they can deliver quickly and effectively.

Smiti works with various founders and executives in the startup, growth and technology ecosystem. She also serves on board of non-profit boards at NORC and All Chicago Ending Homelessness.
